Vintage sugar bowl and lid with ornate metal/chrome/pewter ? frame with two cherubs, decorative, ferns and leaves at the base. It is missing its spoon that would have been placed on it's cradle half way up frame . Underneath the base there is a stamp saying "MERIDEN" company and what looks like a number 88 but not 100% sure.
This is a super looking item in good used condition with some minor wear.to the chrome from age.See photos to make your own assessment of condition.
