Found in the garden of a house clearance sale still drying out but the box is structurally sound. Has a metal band around it, metal/iron top carry handle wth front locking clasp and two side lid holders. Could be used as a functional storage box or with some upcycling an attractive home decoration. In used condition with wear from age and use. What a fantastic old chest found in a house clearence sale in the garden.  There was surface rust on it which I rubbed off, the chest is structurally sound with No rust holes. I was going paint it but i feel that would take away its age and patina, but the choice is yours. Really dont know how old it is, definitely Vintage but could be Antique. It has a brass clasp but has lost its locking mechanism. One of the metal rivet on lock is missing but still held securely by the other one.  It has two side handles for easy carriage. Super large storage tin, can be used for storing your various items safely, or for those with a creative mind to use it for decoration. It has two large handles for carrying or possibly for hanging from a wall. The lid shuts securely when pushed into clasp does not have a locking key.  In used condition with some signs of wear , ie scratches, minor dents in my opinion adds to its patina.  See photos to make your own assessment of condition.

Absolutely stunning small old wooden box.  This box could could be antique but not 100% sure. It has a tactile handle to lift lid off and when replaced sits nicely into its groves. It has 4 stylish wooden feet. In good used condition with some minor fading of the wood, and some minor wood nicks consistent to its age and use.
